Holly Baillie is a fully qualified and accredited BAPT Registered Play Therapist working from a trauma-informed and attachment-based approach.

Holly believes each and every child is unique and can overcome their difficulties within a safe therapeutic space with a qualified therapist. As a result of therapy, a child can flourish, grow and heal with a better outcome for them and their family. Giving the right mental and emotional support is vital for a positive change.

Holly believes that play is an intrinsic part of being a human and is key in helping us develop and reach our full potential. Through play therapy a child can express their experiences and feelings in a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, empowering them to take control of their own healing journey.

Play Therapy allows Holly to become part of your child’s journey towards a happier life.  More >

A little about me . . .

I have been a qualified non-directive Play Therapist since 2019 and, since then, have continued to support children, young people and their families in therapy.

Since 2007, I have worked in residential childcare settings, private work and volunteering in many areas related to supporting children and young people affected by trauma and additional needs.

I have worked in nurseries, primary and secondary schools. I have also worked with children who have social, emotional and behavioural needs within schools as an Assistant Psychologist and as a Play Therapist.

I have experience working alongside children with a range of needs such as Autism, ADHD, medical needs and developmental trauma. I can work with mild to very complex cases.

I am fully insured and PVG checked and offer a quiet therapy room where your child can feel free. This creates a safe base for them to express their feelings and thoughts.

As a fully qualified and accredited BAPT Registered Play Therapist, I follow the BAPT's code of ethics. Click here for more information.
